The truth is this team was gutted by the number of people that left. Not to say we dont have talent in spots on this team but is inexperienced and raw. Undisciplined and is not ready to take on a all SEC schedule. This team needed a few patsies at the beginning to get their feet wet and learn. I have to say i think Brennan has performed to date better than my expectations. But this defense is as bad as LSU has ever put on the field. Players dont know who to cover. They are undisciplined. They cant tackle worth a crap. Better hope we can beat the weaker teams and try for 5-5 and hopefully fill some holes in recruiting. I dont blame Coach O how can you lose the number of quality players we did and opt outs and have a chance at matching the talent of sec teams that didnt. It is going to take a year or 2 to recover from the talent loss from last year. That is the truth. As harsh as it is.
