http://new.columbiatribune.com/webl...2009/jan/11/lsu-assistant-headed-to-missouri/ Would be quite a blow to LSU recruiting wise. Not sure why he would make a less than lateral move to the same position on Missouri's staff. I wonder if Orgeron being offered a co-recruiting coordinator title rubbed Henson the wrong way, if that even happened at all. If so, Miles dropped the ball on that one.
Money? Geography? Both? I find it difficult to believe that Miles would have burned bridges with the recruiting coordinator who has been kicking some serious recruiting arse at LSU. Certainly there's more to it than Miles just threw him under the bus for the Ogre and now is caught in the lurch. I don't believe that.
He has ties with OSU, not Mizzou. Not sure why this would appeal to him. I hope he doesn't leave, but I have no doubt that Miles will find an adequate replacement.
Henson played OL for Oklahoma State, and during his soph, junior, and senior year, Les was his OC. Then Les Miles gave Henson his first job as a football coach in 2001 when Head Coach Les Miles hired Henson as his TE coach and recruiting coordinator. Henson served in that role for Les from 2001-current at both Oklahoma State and LSU. Henson and Les seem pretty tight to me.
