ala Jordan Jefferson? Why is Miles so reluctant to let go of a quarterback that isn't as good as his backup? Is it pride, or not admitting that maybe he made a mistake?
Unlike some people here I was expecting this to be a very close game. But I am still very, very disappointed in our performance by everyone except for Harris, Dupre and the Punter & KO guys. Our dline, oline, & lb's were terrible. The Db's & Rb's average at best. Jennings did not read the options correctly & was way too inconsistent throwing the ball. The receivers weren't getting open very often & Dural dropped a big pass. Fournette & Hilliard both went down on some runs that should have been big gainers because they didn't pick their feet up. Just an overall piss poor performance that reminded me of the blue grass miracle game. I was almost pissed that we won that game & had the same feeling tonite when we had the chance for the Hail Mary.
Not at all. I'm saying that none of us know more about defense and about his players strengths and weaknesses than Chief.
Harris may have earned a shot but they aren't going to turn him loose unless LSU is down big. That's the frustrating part. If Jennings had been given that freedom I think he would have been good, but I also feel his shoulder was hurt.
Exactly. Reminds me of a kid about to do something stupid and you stop them and say "hey don't do that" then they do it anyway.
