Even as a sunshine pumper I can see Welter is un-athletic, out of place, and not aggressive. I have faith that he does something Chief wants him to do, and does it better than the others can ... but for the life of me I cannot figure out what it is.

See, now here is a most sensible response to the entire situation. I respect your opinion entirely.

LSU will outweigh the D-line of MSU by some 50-60 lbs. The battle in the trenches will be one to watch. This MSU D-line is very talented and very athletic. Will the LSU O-line be up to the task of opening holes and protecting Jennings or will these playmakers at DE wreak havoc all night long?

    We shall see tonight.

So you're attacking my football knowledge? I am admitting Chief has a reason. But I still do not see him contributing to the defense much besides an occasional lineup shift, which really makes me wonder about our other MLB's.

Agreed! Both of us played cupcakes which is why no one has a good feel for the outcome. The only good feeling I have is that we showed heart coming back on Whisky and seemed to have turned a corner at half time of that game. Not sure yet about Moo giving up 34 in one of their games. Didn't see the game so not sure if that was garbage points or not. If there defense really is soft then I like our chances. IF we show up and or ready is what concerns me most. I hope the veterans keep the young guys focused and not feeling too cocky.

The more I think about it, the more I am expecting a score like 42-0, LSU.
