I have been surprised by the number of pundits who are picking MSU for an upset. Personally I love it.....you can bet the coaches are posting that shit all over the bulletin boards.
They think we are the most likely top-10 team from the SEC West to drop out with a loss. After struggling with ranked Wisconsin and crushing two cupcakes, LSU has much to prove to keep that ranking.
Yep. Exactly what a Homer would say. Too bad the polls and the playoff committee isn't stocked with them. The truth of the matter is to those that DO matter LSU has a lot to prove.
Uh yea. If LSU was to win every game, it really wouldnt matter if they were all by 1 point. If you think the committee is going to say, well, they play in the best conference in America and lost 1 game. They suck. Get your head checked. The fact is, there is NOWAY on the planet all those people watched all of every game these teams play. It's not possible. You want to know what they will most likely use??? ESPN's box score.
Again, letting the Homer come out and that is fine, nothing wrong with that at all, just not realistic. It's also exactly why so many of the talking heads are picking moo u and the upset. LSU is not yet respected by the media. Like it or not they are the swing vote so it is best to get them on board early and leave little to chance. Sure, win em all and it all takes care of itself but come on. He is still in there, like a deranged jack in the box and he will show up at one point during the course of the season. He always does.
You just made my point. Winning solves it. Not respected? So win. Guess what, they will pick, Au, Bama, A&M, Ole Miss to beat us. So if we win, you think they will just ignore it?
Oregon was respected in 2013 until they, you know, lost. Same shit every year man. Just win. We can sit here and act like Les Miles is some bane on us, but the reality is, if anyone on the committee is objective at all, he is one of the most consistent coaches on the planet.
If we can not run on the Moos then we have bigger issues... like most games, this game will remain competitive for a half, until either MooU wears down, or they make a ton of mistakes and hand the game away. I don't see them beating this defense as its another year older and better since they beat this MooU squad last year.
