I found him. He's with the rest of the freshmen learning the intricacies of SEC football and ball security.

    wheww. crisis averted.

now if we could just keep the scoreboard operator from being the maytag repairman we'd be just fine.

You put Shepard with a coach like Meyer, whom I hate but give him his due. Shepard would be the talk of the town like Harvin was. At most schools they would find ways to get Shepard the ball. I know he isnt ready for QB but he can get in at WR and RB. Sure, I cringe when I see him with the ball because I know he doesnt secure it well but he get yards. More so than anyone else. Which makes me cringe when I see the constant runs up the middle for not.

You can be a Florida fan if you choose. Then Meyer would be your coach and you could make fun of us.

Why is it that when someone points out how another coach could possibly do a better job in a certain situation, the kneejerk reaction is to tell him to go be a fan of that school? It's the intellectual equivalent of a 9-year old saying "yeah, well if you like him so much why don't you marry him?"

While I admit I didnt have to stoop to the same level and react I just couldnt pass it up. The irony of someone named Saban Fan calling me out for saying Meyer would put Shepard to use. Truth is Meyer might very well be the best coach in the business right now. He uses his talent to the fullest, there is no way anyone can honestly say that Shepard wouldnt be a force playing for many other school. Especially UF where a coach like Meyer puts the ball in his playmakers hands, playing to the talent of his team. Not trying to stick to the same old plays that dont work.

Am I a UF? To an extent yeah I am. I love SEC football and cheer for the SEC teams outside of when they play LSU. UF probably is my favorite SEC school after LSU, but as for Meyer. I cant stand him as a person, but I give props when due. The man is probably the best coach in college right now. If that makes me a traitor then so be it. But its not like supporting someone like Saban who is all about himself, a man with zero integrity.
