Yep. I would have to believe that Brennan would have been better with spring practice. He still passed for 345 yards, which is not horrible for a first start. I am more concerned about the defense. 623 yards passing? Holy crap.

This my friends is Ensminger’s offense. Last year was not. The talent loss is even more significant than I originally thought. The QB competition last spring must have not been as close as what they wanted us to believe. The o-line has a lot of work to do. And Bo better find his mojo. I expected a drop off I’m not oblivious but we made it look to easy for Moo U and the crazy old pirate.

This is the worst team LSU has fielded since the curly hallman days.

The losses of that many players really was evident.

our defensive backs were lost most of the game. how do you not pick up the back coming out of the backfield all game.

How do you run a dive play every damn first down ensminger WTF

this was a shit show. This team was not ready and neither were our coaches. Maybe vanderbilt or arkansas are possible victories but even those are in doubt,

We are going to get killed against the good teams.

Miss st wont beat any of the top teams,

Feels like 2008, but maybe a little worse.

We realistically could have scored more this year than last year against them. If we kicked a FG at the end, we’d have had 37, one more than last year. Offense was not the problem today. Could have been better for sure, but not the problem.

Exactly. This was 100% on our defense. Period. SIX HUNDRED AND TWENTY YARDS! We’re the laughing stock of the SEC this week. Let’s hope it’s not for the season.

Are you sure? We didn’t run enough actually. WAY too many drop back passes with empty sets. We ran a little more the 2nd half and it boosted the offense.
