This Miss State team will have a 50% record at the end of season. ( if they’re lucky). Of course, if LSU doesn’t right the ship, we won’t be much better. A lot of first game stuff here as well.
We've actually attempted more runs than the Moos, 13 to 10. Not an offense built to pound the ball, and right now, the cowbells know they can stack the line, overwhelm a young oline and confuse a young QB. If we can get some success throwing the ball, the run game will open up.
Well it is pretty clear this isnt last years team. Brennan is not an sec caliber qb. That is pretty clear. Miss St doesnt even look that good and they are kicking our ass. Oline looks bad. QB and receivers not in sinc. Brennan panics and is slower than me. There is talent but it is young and undisciplined. As good as last year was this year is going to be tough. Ill be watching and pulling for them in every game. Take the good with the bad and young players will get better. I am dissapointed in that i thought brennan would look better. Gonna be long year.

They definitely look out of sync. And flat, which was to be expected with such a ho hum environment. The inexperience is glaring. That’s where we need the play callers to make some adjustments.
