Misc. Recruiting Tidbits

    If Brown signs with LSU & does not qualify, he has to go JUCO for 2 years. If he is a partial qualifier & signs with LSU, it's not clear. I've heard different things. Some have said that the problem is with his core grades, which you cannot go to Hargrave/back to HS for. Others say he still could (like Benton).

    If he is a partial qualifier but signs with Southern Miss, he only has to sit out one year apparently.

    Trindon is a RB/WR, not a DB.

    Last time I checked the Defensive Player of the Year in the NFL is a DB that's 5 feet 8 inches tall.

    And they have short QBs that are successful as well, but all things being equal you'd prefer a taller guy at certain positions.

    Of course, that's why they say that bigger is better.

    It's funny cause things are never equal, especially when a WR matches up against a DB...If all things were equal we'd have a 6'4 corner covering a 6'4 receiver.
