All the more reason for the offense to help the D by using clock, sustaining drives, and keep them on the sidelines.

LSU didn't have the balance right in some games. The power run sets up the play action pass. Miles, if guilty of anything, has been trying too hard to pass first. Bama occasionally does the same thing. Why we weren't establishing the run more against A&M is still baffling. We ended up with a first and goal to win it and we were still flogging it like they were Notre Dame's front seven. As you could tell against Georgia, our offensive linemen were determined not to allow that to happen again.

So who are we looking at to step up and play MLB next season? All the other LBs just seemed too small this season. According to the depth chart it's Feist; can that be right?

We ought to be focusing on positives such as this, rather than speculate how the wheels are falling off, Miles is losing control, etc. Seems pretty clear to me that the players love Miles, and that LSU is in great shape. Looking forward to domination in 2013!
