But they did include him last year for the 2nd straight recruiting season. What gives?

If Benton enrolls in January, they really should not count him in the following class IMO, heck we've already been given credit for him twice. Powe only counted in 2 of OM's classes on scout.

What I'd like to know is how can you say we don't take Singleton because of limited numbers but then list 26 guys in the class. That sure ain't limited numbers!!!!!!!

If our average is 4 or above that would be something, but I don't think it will be.

Originally, he was a high school recruit. last year, he was ranked along with the JUCO players.

This year he isn't even playing football.

    Only seven????

Your optimism about this class is contaguous, but I'm damned if I can understand why each year you predict that we will land every 5-star that we recruit. It has never worked out that way. Ever.

Well if I remember correctly, I only predicted 3 five star recruits last year (DeAndre Brown I missed on), which to my recollection is not EVERY 5-star recruit (FYI, there are approximately 30 of them each year on rivals). And I predicted those based on the fact we were coming off a BCS title, but the spoils weren't quite coming around as I had hoped. It was a bit too soon (many recruits had already made up their mind by the first week of January).

Now, we see the effects of coming off that championship year. And everyone seems to want to play for Les Miles.

At this point, most experts believe, at a minimum we get Loston and Randle. That gives us 4 for sure. Then the McFarland sweepstakes has LSU in a pretty good position, although it appears it still pretty close to 50-50 with Texas. The biggest question is if we get Richardson, and if not do we offer Michael (he's a slam dunk for LSU, if we want him).

The chance for 6 is good.

It pains you to add him and lower our ranking doesn't it?:yelwink2: Everyone keeps saying don't star gaze, but you have to have a little fun, I understand. I'm with ya! CParso stop being a party pooper and let us count Benton. Damn the rules man. :hihi: Ole Miss probably counted Powe for 3 years before he qualified.

Another voice of reason, this is neither the time nor the place for reason. Can't you see you are crushing a man's dream here!!!
