My bigger question is: How do you face your players after that? Or better yet: How do you handle one of your players who does the same thing? Kinda like the parent/kid thing.... FWIW I DID think that it was funny but sad in a way too....
Yea, that's pretty much what I thought. I must admit though, completely covering the plate, and then outlining a larger plate was funny. The crawling-to-the-rosin-bag-and-tossing-it move was hilarious, but was kind of sad (in a, "wow, that dude has no dignity" kinda way.)
Kinda like seeing somebody puking. It's funny at first, then you're sad, then you're glad that it isn't you because you feel ashamed for dude....
In regards to embarassing himself, you can see his and opposing players in the background trying to stifle laughter and keep a straight face as he goes by. Somebody going crazy like that could snap at you if they see you laughing at them.
