Our budget deficit is half of what it was when he took office, our debt to GDP ration is sinking almost daily, we've experienced 49 consecutive months of job growth and expanding economy and we've finally addressed the rising costs of health care. Like it or not, we are in a better fiscal situation than we were the day the guy took office. What about health care costs? Do you really think that health care costs started their meteoric rise the day Obama was sworn in? You are looking through some seriously jaded glasses if you believe that to be true. And no, my premiums are not higher; in fact they are lower. I anticipate them to go up when Obamacare is fully implemented but only because I am young and healthy and I understand that in order for older folks to have affordable health care I will need to pay a little extra and I don't mind. You are likely one of those older folks I am describing, and that is why your premiums have risen. What about college student loan rates? Student loan rates went up because congress couldn't, or wouldn't, pass a bill to keep the rates at 3.4%.
