Thats the theme on this forum. Our players are untouchable, so when they mess up, unless its JJ, the coaches are just bad...

In JJ's case, hes just bad...:hihi:

For the last time - Miles will not be fired no matter what. His buyout is too larger for a university already facing budget cuts. I realize that the football program is self sustaining, but you also include the buyouts of his assistants, the price is too steep. If anything, hopefully Crowton will be gone sooner rather than later.

Miles' contract runs through next season. If he doesn't turn it around by then, it will not be renewed, but he will not be fired. I hate it, but it is what it is.

I don't believe that either. He showed some good things. Finally they are not afraid to let him unleash a long pass. If learns to read a defense he could be a potential game changer. I'll say if he doesn't progress in the 1st half of game 2 then give Lee a shot. I'd much rather Lee make his argument at Vandy than against WVU under the glare of some of the asinine fans in Tiger Stadium.

The universtity doesn't pay his salary...that's the TAF. Depends on their pockets and how deep they are.

But you can get demote the OC right now. It could hurt the team short-term but maybe you get the offense off the track of it's course down from 112th in the nation to dead last. Crowton should have been canned long ago.

Miles is too loyal for that to happen...so we hope Crowton gets the verbal he needs to open it up or Miles can turn his press conference style in the game plan. No one would know what the hell to expect...

I will never feel comfortable as long as CLM is on the sidelines and GC is calling the plays.

I said the same thing when Haslett was the Saints coach. You know what, I was trying to make myself feel better and I was wrong.

It is the coaches job to impress upon the players how important details are and if the team is undisciplined it is a reflection of the coaching staff. The Saints play smart because Sean Payton has built a roster of smart players and he stresses the little things.
