Miles won't do it, but would a normal coach go for a New OC?

What is funny about this is I had a thread in this forum about our Vanilla offense before the first Bama game and at another forum as well. Which reminds me if Lee and Jefferson aren't as good as Mett why didn't Mett play this season instead especially with a simple offense.

Maybe the OC aint the problem maybe it is the head coach? Maybe it doesn't matter who the OC is after all? I am just saying and trying to figure all of this out because it is obvious to me after last night I believe this team may have had more issues than people knew?

Kragthorpe and Stud wanted to go to Lee last night, it was the abnormal coach that wanted to stay with "the chosen one". The OC isn't the problem here.

The year before Krags/Stud, the offense ranked 81st and that was an improvement over the previous few years. This year the offense ranked 51st, a clear improvement. It's obvious that Miles can be stubborn to a fault concerning certain players but the offense was good enough to win 13 games at a 20+ point average margin. They did what they could considering JJ was going to play no matter what. Let's see what next year brings with Mett.

Miles is the problem, not Stud. LSU looked just like it did last year and the previous three years. Very stagnant, predictable, stubborn, no adjustments, etc. The common denominator, Les Miles. While I was very happy with how the O was called during the regular season it was beyond atrocious in this game. Sure he wins, but Im not at all sold on Miles as a top tier coach. There is no way he could win like Spurrier did this year with his talent.

If that's the case then should Miles retain his position? Should LSU keep a man who is too stubborn to give the team their best chance to win, because making no changes or adjustments was just playing to lose imo. Is that who we want leading LSU?

Meanwhile Bama is going after Boise States OC. Does Chavis have an evil (offense) clone we can hire?

We should just plug in NCAA 2k12 into an Xbox and just keep pressing the "ask the coach" option. Works well

A normal coach would have moved the QB outside the pocket to throw to the TE or dink it the WR.

A normal coach would have tried #12 and # 8 if #9 was sucking turf.

A normal coach would have tried misdirections and played #10.

A normal coach would not have stated "I did not see it coming."

Les Miles is NOT a normal coach so don't expect a big name OC to ruin his thing.

LSU offense ranked 57th this year, Maryland 77th. Last year, LSU was 81st, Maryland 75th.
