Based on that logic, Jefferson hasnt gotten into any trouble either and no punishment is warranted Just Sayin................
Sorry for jumping in so late. It's true that Jefferson has kept his nose clean, but these allegations are very serious if true. That's the main difference there. Thomas has nothing pending, because he's done nothing wrong. That being said, I hope the allegations are false, so LSU is at full strength on Sept. 3rd. Win or lose, it'll be a great game!
If the allegations are true it will be unfortunate, but for only one reason and thats not because he cant play against Oregon, its because he possibly may have thrown his career down the toilet. If Hoyt had pressed charges, do you think Blount would have been re-instated?
I don't doubt for a second that Chip would have kicked him off the team. Some of what happened that night was Blount reacting to the Boise players and fans, but I'm making no excuses for what happened. At the time I watched that game. My brother & I were saying to kick the guy off the team. We were surprised by the re-in-statement, but once I considered what punishments other players were getting around college football for similar offenses, I backed away from my original views. I realized that kids make mistakes, especially football players, they get in the heat of the moment, get emotional, and sometimes do stupid chit. I'm curious if there's been any talk about Jefferson & the Freshman WR being underage at a bar at 2 in the morning. Will Miles address that?
LOL - Same Logic applies, - Thomas didnt smoke he was just around it, Jefferson didnt drink, he was just around it So no need to address that.
It has not been confirmed, besides, its Louisiana, we walk to a different drum beat when it comes to alcohol, similar to the Northwest and Pot
