Miles is the head coach. The buck stops with him. How can this fool have been hired as a head coach? He is an embarassment to LSU and the State of Louisiana. His interview after the game was totally incoherent. He is a babbling idiot and I don't care about his past win/loss record. It is obvious now that he was winning with Saban's players. The man is a fool and needs to go quickly. The sad truth is that he isn't going anywhere for at least two more years. It is going to take a decade to undo the damage that he will do to our football program.

Oh, and he's done a beautiful job of coaching Lee "up" also! Execution is poor, offense is basic, sets and packages are obvious, lousy situational playcalling. ie two fade routes in a row. Crowton is a cancer!:tigereye:

Sorry Ch0sn0ne, look at Crowton's history. This was to be expected.

As far as CLM goes, the boneheaded play calling is being mocked on every sport thread on the internet. Looks like confirmation that we've succeeded in spite of CLM, not because of him.

why did they not call a running play for the two point conversion? Why call two back to back corne o the end zone passes. Even the announcers said it was a bone head call with less than 50 chance of making it.

    he call the SAME PLAY.

ridley could have run te ball in

The success rate for the fade to the endzone play is 11%.

    Just sayin.

There is no way in hell Les Miles called a pass play when we were at the 30 with a minute or so left. That was Crowton, but Miles should have told Crowton to shove it up his ass, we are running the ball. LSU and Ole Miss both had 2 timeouts left. We run the ball, Ole Miss burns 2 timeouts. If we don't get the 1st, we kick from there, then we kick off with probably under 30 seconds left depending on how much time we can run off.

Why didn't Miles tell Crowton to go f himself? However this isn't enough in my eyes to call for the head of the Mad Hatter. Someone's head must roll though, and its the OC. CROW MUST GO!!!!

Do you think Bill Belichic (sp?) called Les Miles and told him thanks for making my decision the 2nd dumbest coaching move this football season?

I think it was the opposite. Normally I think you would be right, but you forget about the knock on MIles that everyone seen before all of this. And that is his resistence to depending on young players.

KW had just went down. I think Miles didnt want to give Ridley the ball when it mattered. He didnt think he could handle it. So he had JJ pass because if not for JJ's heroics so far we would not have even had a chance to save his retarded ass.

But even if you are right and Crowton did call it, Miles could have simply said, nope Gary lets pound it and let Jasper win this thing for us.

He didnt. Frick he might not even know who Jasper is.

I'd believe that if Crowton didn't already have a track record of going backwards.

see i thought about that too, and i also thought maybe he knew he was getting skimp on running backs, but Miles is an offensive lineman, who has praised his line, and loves to run the ball, which is what every other coach would have done in that situation, so it just doesn't make sense to me that Miles called that play. He should have told Crowton to shove up his ass though, we are running the ball, i agree, so its his fault too don't get me wrong.
