I know no one will think this is a legit post but... I have information from two creditable sources that has confirmed that Les Miles is the front runner for the ND job.... Tigerforums first..
I think it was sarcasm in an online article, right after the debacle at Ole Miss. And Miles is a Michigan alum, won't happen.
i would be amazed if you were right. first off, why would he go there, are they going to pay them more??? is it less pressure??? a michigan guy coaching ND?? (not that that kind of thing really plays into coaches decisions) after saturday do you really think ND fans would be happy about that and not brian kelly or jim harbaugh?? (yes i know another mich guy) why not chris peterson?? why not paul johnson?? this would astonish me as much as when i said there's no way in hell nick saban is going to alabama............
Yeah, everybody has great sources. I'm sure ND fans and alums would be real pumped about that right now.
Too good to be true, It would allow LSU to get a better coach and guarantee ND to stay in the middle of the pack. Its a no lose situation for me
Even if there were an ounce of truth to this... Miles ain't going to ND, holy cow, if we lose to Arky i'm not sure I wanna come back here and read all the miles hating threads.
Fox Sports rumored this today, which would be a shock after the comedy of errors by Miles over the past two yars and his Elmer Fudd press conference this past weekend. I wonder if you'll see players locking arms with Miles this weekend as a sign of support like ND players did with Weiss. ESPN doesn't have Miles listed as a candidate and outside of Michigan in 2007, I've never seen any other major college program list him as a viable candidate. We couldn't get so lucky.
