I agree. He wouldn't have lied to Les if he hadn't known it was a problem.

His mom also lied to LSU in order to make an excuse to the LSU coaches, saying it was her decision to visit Bama. She knew about the rule but her son didn't, that's pretty funny sh!t.

He's not a smuck for visiting FSU, he's a smuck because of all the dishonesty he has exhibited in the past 10 months and especially in the past 2 weeks.

Believe me, when you see this scenario, parents making excuses for their kids' actions, stay away! I've seen it too often in my line of work and, chances are, this is not an isolated incident. If such is the case, that reeks disaster ahead. It's a patern for some parents, "My kid's never wrong". :dis:

I was just told by bammer co-worker that Luther Davis has committed to the gumps as of a few minutes ago. He supposedly called today between classes and stated he made his final decision and he is "absolutely firm." :dis:

Take it for what its worth but this bammer has been almost 100% dead on in what he has told me over the last few weeks.

Exactly. Which is why he lied repeatedly about the trip.

Nothing against the guy doing what's best for him. At LSU he was a good recruit on a team loaded with great players, and at Bama he's a great recruit on a team in real need. To bad he had to lie about it, though. Shows that his character -- and just as important, IMO, judgement -- are sorely lacking. He'll fit in well with Saban.

I don't think he's a great recruit for Bama. Bama is a pretty talented team, it isn't like they have no talent or aren't used to getting some pretty big time recruits. He's just another good recruit no matter where he goes (unless its ULL or something).
