And Bama just hired Jeremy Pruitt as their new DC. We hire an administrator, they hire a real defensive coordinator.

I'm not sold on Pruitt any more than I am Steele. Their overall defensive season stats this year are very deceiving. Playing in the weak East they only played 3 SEC teams with winning records(Alabama, Tennessee and Florida) and we all now what an offensive powerhouse Florida is.....right? In those games they gave up an average of 437 yards and 34.3 points. In the article below it's reported that members of Richt's staff said they were leaving if he kept Pruit on staff. He'll be another guy that knows Saban's defense and will do exactly what Saban tells him. Miles needs someone that can actually run a defense, I don't think that's Pruitt.

I'm not saying Pruitt is awesome, but he is the right hire for Alabama. Is that something we can say about Steele? Was he the right hire? And number 8 in total defense isn't a bad stat especially since Georgia's offense was abysmal.

I'd take Pruitt 10 times out of 10 over Steele.

I'd much rather just pass on both.

Given the choice it ain't close for me. But it's like choosing an offense besides miles. Doesnt matter who or what at this point.

Ding Ding Ding. We have a winner.

They all witnessed the Chavis departure, the Archaic Offense with dysfunctional QB'ing and impending Lame Duck status of the program and wanted no part of it.

Fast Forward to the "Dumbo Jimbo Hiring Fiasco."

They were correct in their perceptions.

The program is in Limbo with no SEC Championship caliber QB's on the roster (Unless Etling is the real deal) and not enough quality/quantity OL's/DL's/LB's.

Recruits are bailing and jumping ship. They see what's ahead in the distance. It's all coming to fruition right now..........
