It always seems like players like XC who don't live up to their expectations are the ones sour about the way they were treated by their coaches. XC turned out to be as much trouble as Perrilloux, so him whining doesn't surprise me too much
I wonder how many players Saban had trouble with. He was always yelling at someone. Bet he yelled at X man too. You wanna play ball for Miles, you have to do it his way. He may have lightened up on the 2 star athletes a little but we all mature, well, maybe not Xavier.
clm worked with two sport kids at oklahoma state and seemed to not have a problem with them, which is why it surprises me that he would suddenly have a problem with it at lsu. unless it was with someone that wasnt mature enough to handle two sports and he felt they needed to focus on just one or the other. thats just my speculation, of course.
maybe its because X man was one of the biggest thugs on the campus at LSU. wasnt he with odom when that stuff happened to get him kicked off the team. Odom was a beast too, wonder what happened to him. We could have used him at linebacker, tell him the quarterback was a car and he would have torn the opposing qb apart.
