It is actually an informal media session, so don't expect to see it on TV or over the radio. Just a bunch of media guys who will write up stories on what he says. Sounds like Chavis is out recruiting today but he might be there. IDK
If that's the case I doubt he is there. I would hope they introduce him formally at some point though, will probably find out today.
From DandyDon Long: Late-breaking News 2:10 pm CST It appears that Coach Les Miles has completed his coaching staff at LSU. John Chavis has been officially named defensive coordinator at LSU. Brick Haley, from the Chicago Bears and formerly at Mississippi State, will likely coach the defensive line, and Ron Cooper from South Carolina will coach the defensive backs. I will have more in my morning report. It looks like it'll be Bo Davis or Brick Haley at this point but nobody really knows exactly who it is.
