and that would be it, Grad originally posted it also. Thanks. Has anyone listened to the press conference? Miles sounded pissed off, like he was mad for getting those questions asked, or for having to explain himself. I have never seen a guy need a PR department more than Dunce Capper.
The saddest part of this whole deal is JJ, Tolliver and Lafell made plays to win the game and the coach was too stupid to figure out how use a timeout.:cuss: It will be interesting to see how the team responds to this embarrassment.
Lafell also dropped balls earlier in the game that probably would've never put us in that position to start with. There's plenty of blame to go around for that awful showing on Saturday. We're all upset because of hideous mismanagement at the end of the game and an inarticulate Miles (redundant, I know) post-game. It robbed us of a miracle finish. But we weren't playing with the heart to win that game in the first place.
IMO LaFell had the worst Tiger performance yesterday, including the coaches. He dropped like 4 first downs and one of them would have been a huge play.
and he is correct. i noticed that at full speed saturday. JJ's hands weren't even under center yet when clock started.
Anyone notice that other than the recovered blocked FG that Patrick Peterson had a pretty dismal game also. He was out of position a few times on some big offensive plays by Ole Miss. He is still the bestest though.
He did great in man coverage as always but he was in the wrong place when they were in zone a few times.
Miles took the blame. I'm glad he did. It's tough to do- admitting to millions of people that your screw-up cost your team victory, especially given the amount of experience that Miles has. I'm not giving him a "pass", because Saturday night was a major, top-shelf screw-up. But I do feel better about it. Now let's move on and kick Arkansas tail Saturday night! :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
