I think it's a lot to do with just that. There is a lil sumpin but it's not going to be anything major that will result in a WHOLE lot. That's based on what a respected poster on rivals is saying- actually, he gave specifics but I'll leave them there until there is an "Official" report. I think we can all take a deep breath.
I like the confidence with which Coach Miles handles things. There is nothing I can remember that he has not handled well regarding press conferences. I'm sure he's making the best decision for all parties.
LSU obviously doesn't want to deal with the RP rumors right now. If they were completely baseless, they would come out and say so - but they haven't. I agree with lsutiga/the Rivals poster in that it's probably a situation that isn't cleared yet, which is why they can't comment on it at the moment and it also probably isn't a huge deal.

Also consider that Les has been out of town and probably does not think it is fair to Perrilloux to comment on something that Miles needs to finish gathering facts on.
