Unfortunately, our problems are multiple. Can Miles pull it together? We'll see. Certainly have the talent to be better than we are. Its not just losing but how you lose and we have lost looking aweful this year at times.
Quit trying to understand him a long time ago. You just have to take him as a sit com- purely entertaining, our boy is.
I think the poor tackling is a result, at least partly, of the players trying to go for the big play - stripping the ball, etc - rather than just getting their man on the ground. They seem to me to be hitting too high for a good, solid tackle rather than wrapping up. Sometimes you see them just delivering a hit, as if expecting the offensive player to simply fall down. As to the attitude, the Tigers just don't seem to have any fire at all - as if they're just going through the motions. I have been very disappointed in both of our lines. They were both highly touted going into this season, and I think they've both underachieved drastically. I don't know why. Must have something to do with coaching, but not being inside the program, I have no idea what the coaching problem would be. Rahim Alem has been the most "fired up" player I've seen on the field this year. Should be even better next year. I hope the rest of the team finds a way to match his enthusiasm. :geaux:
you know a nickel is not worth what it used to be and i wanted in these tough economic times to give people a great value. :hihi:
