I agree LaSalle, but from this point forward any black QB who doesn't play like Russell Wilson or Peyton Manning by his 6th game will be just like Jordan Jefferson to many LSU fans. Sad, but true.
By this line of thinking Leslie Edwin is the ONLY coach in the free world that could have accomplished such a thing. psst, your buddies are jumping off a cliff in another thread
Now this is ridiculous thinking/statements. When has skin color ever been an issue? It is and always has been about talent or lack thereof
I hope that wasn't the reason. If it was, I don't agree with it. Zach Mett was the best QB we've had in a while, and he had zero mobility. Still, I'm not sure Rivers was that good....
I don't get this either. We run a pro style offense, but we only want a dual threat QB. I hope they aren't inflexible on that point, because if another Mettenberger comes along, I'd love to have him on our team.
Give me a list of coaches who have accomplished such a thing in the last decade. Pretty short isn't it? Granted he had a great program to take over, but he's kept it going for a decade.
He doesn't have much else in common with the other guy as far as I can tell. I don't see you comparing him with Jarret Lee or Jamie Howard. Maybe I'm reading in something that isn't there. I just think the piling on is silly.
It is all speculative and we have had this argument for pages upon pages where a name is thrown out and then everyone picks it apart like he was running for president. What matters is do YOU think that Leslie Edwin Miles is THE BEST coach in football. If you say yes then holy crap you are the homer fan club prez my friend.
Not piling on at all, don't even blame him for anything. It is what it is, his skill set is what it is and we have to live with it for as long as the coach keeps running him out there. My advice is to not expect anything different than you have already seen.
