This one. I don't say the other guys name because it makes my blood boil. The wannabe qb that ran out of eligibility a couple years ago. He wore a number larger than 8 but less than 10. I labeled Jennings 2.0 after the Iowa bowl game because that is all I needed to see. I caught a lot of flack for it too, but now others are starting to see the same thing. Funny how that works, then Red says something about hindsight, not sure how that works beings I called it months in advance.
It's Jennings, not Jenkins. Did you ever consider that he was elevated above Rivers because Rivers sucks? I would say that was the reason.
It's not that JENNINGS reminds me of Jefferson [really .. I agree, JENNINGS doesn't look confused out on the field], .. as much as the position that CLM appears to be taking reminds me of the same stubborn, cut off your nose to spite your face attitude that he took back then. It's the whole "you've got a better player sitting the bench, .. why won't you put him in" ... kinda thing. But ... OK ... I"ll change my mind. JENNINGS is the next Winston ... he just needs a decent OL in front of him to allow his talent to shine. [but I still think Harris has the better arm].

I think the duel threat, run oriented QB, is what CLM envisions for the future of LSU. He's said as much! Thus, by default, Rivers and Rettig left.
