    they don't pass all that much. and they certainly won't have to because there's no way this defense will be able to stop the triple option when it's run competently much less as well as they run it.

    May be some truth to that... I always admired the LSU defenses because of their ability to smother anyones run and force them to throw... but even if we could shut down most runs, the throwing ability of even mediocre QBs (see Bama, OM and Arky) would tear us up.

    I think you're splitting hairs. They showed good effort at times, but it looks to me like a lot of seniors have taken a lot of plays off all season.

    don't you play tyhe conf USA champ in the liberty bowl??? i honestly don't know.

    if so, tulsa will pass for 700 yards on us.

    I'll give an example which I found very telling about our effort. After Charles Scott scored a TD in the 2nd quarter, he and Lafell celebrating by jumping up and bumping chests. Both only managed to jump about 6 inches off the ground. It showed how "dead" and "flat" the team had become.
