How does Miles' performance Monday night against Tennessee affect recruiting?

I know not many recruits were in attendence, but I bet they were watching on tv & saw the same things we did.

You can't be a great recruiter unless you show these kids that you are going to win with them. I know it's early & LSU could still have a successfull season, but do you think this one performance could be a deciding factor for some of these kids, especially ones that were already unsure??

Texas recruits watch them get their ass kicked by OU every year and it doesn't hurt them. Unless we make a habit of playing like we did in the 2nd half last night then I don't see it causing us any problems.

It's not going to be a major factor at all. The crowd was loud and emotional in the first half and the end of the game, the atmosphere was great. Most players are just going to give Tenn. credit for the win, not blame the coaches. If we lose consistently, that will have a great impact, whether the games are on TV or not.

Don't be so sure about that. Adriene(sp?) Peterson went to OU because he didn't want to be their whipping toy at UT, even though he was a UT fan his whole life.

Cedric Benson probably had a little something to do with that too.
