(From reading the article, it doesn't seem like a ringing endorsement from Carr...which is to be expected with all the rumors about their strained relationship) -They don't seem to be bound to hiring a "Michigan man". The AD noted that neither Schembechler, Crisler, nor Yost were Michigan men (all legends in Michigan coaching history). Their goal is to hire the "finest coach in the country." -The only other candidates specifically mentioned in the article were Ron English (DC at Michigan) and Jim Grobe (Wake Forest). -ALSO, THEY HOPE TO MAKE THE HIRE BY THE END OF THE YEAR. My gut feeling is that Miles isn't going to get the job. Obviously he wants it (at least I feel this is obvious), and I think he'll be considered. More than anything else, the timing is what is going to screw him...especially considering the comment about making the hire by the end of the year.
Exactly, play that clip to a recruit. Wow, that was really inspiring to watch. I know Ive questioned some of Miles tactics thus far this season but Im very happy with him as a coach and what he has brought to LSU. After watching the video I have even more respect for him. It seems like this is his home. Long live the Hat:miles: in Purple and Gold!

Re: Latest out of Michigan Would you 2 please watch his press conference in the thread "miles pc" or somethin like that...I posted a link to the pc. Watch it then say its obvious he wants the job. I'm sick of people assuming he is dying to get the job.
