Miles without question. I would not take Saban back if he offered to coach for free. When you look at the great coaches like Shula, Halas, Joe Paterno, and the like, they all had great character. Let's face it I don't care how good you are you will not be a champion every year, so you might as well build some character and good relationships while your there. Saban is HIGH MAINTENANCE with all his little pet peeves, and is not truly liked by many. Les Miles is liked by many. And by the way last time I counted: Saban :crystal: Miles :crystal:
Last time I checked even tho Matt Flynn, Dwayne Bowe, LaRon Landry,Jacob Hester, Craig Steltz, and other good to great players that played at LSU since Saban left. Were developed by Les. He mite have recruited them but had lil or no affect on their developement as football players or Men.....
Saban, super great coach, terrible person from what I have witnessed. Miles, average to good coach, seems like a good person. I would rather LSU loss every game forever than to see Saban in purple and gold again.
I think this week is a very important one for Miles and LSU, at least in my mind. This could be LSU's most evenly-matched game of the season in terms of overall talent and where the programs stand.
Lou Saban, ex AFL Buffalo Bills coach, defensive genius. I think he has a kid or two who has gotten into coaching, but i don't who or where they coach.
