I think Les is a better person, but Saban is a better coach. Les is not a bad coach, but I dont think he maximizes his talent. Where as Saban gets the best out of his kids. Les is honest and loyal, Saban is not. i guess if its a program that is trying to win right now are in the next years r so, then you take Saban. But if you are trying to find a good coach that can bring stablity to your program and who is in it for the long hall you take Les. Based soley on teaching football and getting the best out of your talent I take Saban. Just being a fan I take Saban, but if my son had chance to go play for one I would lean towards Les.

I can think of 2 trophies Saban didn't win last year.

That's where the delusion rises for Bammer fans. See, over here, some fans apparently get pissy when the coach loses 4 games and wins a bowl. Granted we sucked it up in the SEC last year and won a Peach Bowl (Chik-Fil-A), but it's better than say...

1.) Going the entire regular season with no loss
2.) Not winning a bowl game

BECAUSE... If Saban's so awesome at training up his talent, why was his highly touted offensive lineman such a pain in the ass for teams at the combine and in the draft? AND, AND, why was he unable to bring home some sort of title. Whether it be against a mountain west team or florida. Because even though florida beat us by a ton of points. They still beat bammer.

I dont believe Satan gets the best out of all his players. He is always jumps on them on tv during the game even for the smallest mistakes. Who here loves to get jumped on and does better if all you got if some A-hole is jumping on you all the time.

I don't know - Miles can be an A-hole on the practice field; however, he is saintly in public. The duel D-coordinators didn't help last year. The D-Backs were green. The LB were green, except in the middle. The D-line didn't show up to play. The QB position was green and is also this year; however, JJ is better than what we had last year. He is getting better each game.

This year, the O-line is weak at LG and C, as first year players and running game is a product of center and guard play. We are good shape at other positions except FB. The O line is improving and running game will come around.

I think play calling has been bad; however, why show something when you don't have to. I would have thrown a bit more against Miss St to open running game.

I don't see much difference in Saban and Miles. They are both good recruiters. Miles teams don't lose to Al - B'ham or LA of Monroe. Saban is a D coach and Miles an O coach. Each have good coordinators and assistant coaches - they do the coaching - generally not head coaches. Head coaches coach assistant coaches.

I prefer Miles to Saban, as Saban is always pushing for more money and has no loyality.

LSU will beat Bama this year. The D has improved this year from game one to now and will get better. By Bama, our D will be best in SEC. Remember how Bear's teams got better as year progressed. Not saying Miles is Bear, however, neither is Saban.

Look at losses to Auburn - they were one sided most of the time. Even lop sided to Bama one year.
