Who said Townson? In fact that's EXACTLY why I said, "at this point".

It sound like he's saying that someone had to learn a new position and the 6th-year senior is doing it for the team. He's having to learn new skills on the outside and he's learning them the hard way by being thrown in the water to sink or swim. I feel certain that if anyone on the team was learning these skills faster, they would get a shot.

    LOL

Just like a coach expressing in a public talk show that his LT isn't cutting it isn't the same as "trashing" him?

Simply answer the question asked.....everyone knows there's a problem there right now.

I don't think that's the same as not admitting there is a problem. Granted, he didn't admit there was a problem, but all that quote says to me is that he doesn't think anyone else can do a better job, which may very well be true.

I hope Josh improves, and maybe he is still not 100%.

It's probably true, considering the substantial losses we've absorbed there. Faulk was a big one...possibly bigger than losing Mathieu.

When people say replace Josh D (or any player) because he isn't living up to their expectations or seems to be playing poorly, it is much easier to call for than to actually accomplish
What makes you think there is someone better available?
Is Les keeping Josh D (in this case) and risking his only QB with experience for laughs?
Some have called for L'ael Collins to step in but over 2 years all he has played is LG while others have moved around. Isn't that a clue that it may be the right place for LC or he doesn't show the tools to play elsewhere?
    Who would you suggest?
Some may say anyone would be better but I think I would get run over very quickly if I tried  ; so maybe anyone isn't the right answer.
I believe if there were another option he would be tried. In fact didn't we put Hurst at LT and V Alexander at RT one game?
The test of Les & Stud & Krag' coaching will be how the adjust and help the LT deal with the challenge he faces.

I understand the want for continuity with the offensive line but sometimes feel that for a cupcake game like Towson, we should experiment with different combinations early in the game. For example, give Collins a couple of series at LT in the 1st half with Dworaczyk at LG, maybe even one of the younger guys for a series or two instead of Dworaczyk (since he needs to limit the pounding on his knees).
