Yes, this is exactly what I TRULY expected. I see no reason not to throw EVERYTHING you have out on the field and go for broke. Nothing to lose by trying, everything to gain if successful. This was my main disappointment with the game. :geaux:

I'm not reading every post these days so maybe this has been said...,

but last year we had a horrid offense and CLM fixed that. Now we have a horrid offense and I think we can count on that being fixed. May not be until next year though.

John Brantley won't miss a beat. If Florida gets just the 3 F-16's
that play for St Thoma Aquinas (sp) they will be even faster next year
than they are now. Anyone watch STA play Byrnes SC???:geaux:

Read it somewhere else, so not mine originally...not having a senior Perrilloux is a killer. I always hear how a bust at QB in the NFL can set a franchise back a few years, I think that happened to us, while these kids should be growing and learning they are having their nuts roasted over the fire. Perrilloux would at least be more stable at the position if he could have only been more stable in the head.

The players should learn from their coach how to use the athletic ability that got them recruited in the first place. If our coaches do not start showing that they can teach them then the recruits will stop coming to school here.
It is the coaches job to prepare a player for the game and to make every effort to win the game.

If Miles' opinion is really that Shep coming in would be worse than JJ then why doesn't he just "man up" and say that and if we are REAL LUCKY he may give the reasons why. He doesn't do that, he says 10-12 touches. Believing that anymore is like Charlie Brown believing Lucy every year about kicking the football. We know how that worked out huh? Miles won't play him because he doesn't "trust" freshmen. And it IS Miles.

name 1 coach in the history of football who has ever came out and told the world exactly what he was going to do, and why he was going to do it.

really, maybe he can video tape practice and send it to Auburn to make sure they know exactly whats on his mind.

its called coach speak. answer every question without telling anyone a dam thing.

I don't think anything is on his mind. That is the problem. But you figure Miles is just being very clever & cagey? Hasn't seemed to work so far. I'm guessing UF didn't spend loads of time practicing against the Wild Whatever with Shep running all of this cool stuff and actually throwing passes. Ya think?

I'd bet anything that they kick butt next year with Brantley. His skills are different than Tebow so they will adapt their play suite to his skills which are better passer than Tim. Now THERE is a concept, adapt huh? Remember they won it a couple of years ago without Tebow who only played a token role with a passer named Leak, right? Plus I bet they pull in another top notch QB this year that they start to coach up. That's another radical LSU concept, coach up, so we can't really relate. What is going on at LSU right now is at best bizarre but it doesn't seem to go on at Bama or Florida. That's why if things keep going on this way those will be the 2 teams in the SECCG just like last year.
