He could have fumbled which is something that Jordan hasnt really done yet. In a big game maybe RS does better but maybe not. as deep in our own area we were he could have fumbled and gave UF the ball say on the 20. At least most of the time UF was driving down the field as opposed to getting the ball in the redzone trying to score.

yeah its a good thing he didnt come in and fumble. i agree. we could have lost and maybe got less than 200 yards offense and below 3 points.

Wow, you trust Les Miles decision to leave Russell Shepard on the bench because it would not have helped this offense?

Tirk is right. You are completely off base.

For the first time all year, I think I would have to consider Lee playing. Hindsight is 20-20, but a Jarrett Lee throwing the ball would have produced more than what this offense did with Jefferson. At least it could have kept the defense honest to defend the pass.

From this point forward, teams won't respect us passing so they will stop the run and put us in continual 3rd and longs.

    This is an interesting thread.
I really can't wait to see the way the rest of the season plays out!

:geaux: Agree that Lee should at least get in the game. As I've said in other threads, no reason why he shouldn't have been in for a couple of series last night in the 4th qtr. when JJ was struggling and not getting it done. See what he can do. Opponents would definitely have to respect the pass with him in there. Not advocating canning JJ, but Lee needs to play some IMO. :LSU231:

it may not have helped to have Shep in but, what do you stand to lose? he surely couldn't have done worse.

if they were concerned about his composure in such a high calibre game, it just may have worked the opposite & he may have excelled.

sad thing is we'll never know. whether it's Miles, Crowton, the sideline play calling, doesn't matter. what matters is they need to fix it.

we're lucky the score was only 13-3,(should've been 6-3 minus TD on offensive pass int that wasn't called). Gators won but didn't impress me, now I'm worried about playing Bama...

Gee, would winning a national championship each and every year make you feel better? Would that be progress? Why doesn't Les win them all like all of the other coaches in the country?

I get your point, but to be fair, Urban Meyer is well on his way to winning 3 in 4 years. It can be done. :)

Well, how often does a Tebow come along. It's been 50 years since Roger Staubach. Watch Meyer's production fall off when Tebow leaves.
