Based on last nite's performance, it looks like the Tigers are going to get pushed around badly this year. Since Goober has been at the helm we can expect unprepared players, numerous penalties, constant mistakes, poor clock management, and idiotic comments from the head coach. He's gotta go and this year will probably be bad enough to send him on his way.
Since Goober has been at the helm, we have averaged 10 wins a season and own a BCS crystal football. It's going to take more than a win on the road to cost Les his job.
It's painful to watch the bewildered look on Les Miles face from the side-line. He looks like Telly Sevalis sucking on a tootsey pop. Les Miles should not be coaching in the SEC.
Look at the trends vs. quality opponets and look at the numbers vs. lack luster opponets. The raw number of wins doesn't tell the story, and those savvy enough to know whats going on at the athletic director level know this won't cut it. The rules of coaching are: 1. Win the games you are supposed to win decisively 2. Win the games you are favored to win with ease 3. Win the close games that you are supposed to win 4. Don't embarass yourself or your team by losing games you are supposed to win. 5. Play above yourself in games you are the under-dog in 6. Win half of the games you are the under dog in Les Miles violated rule number one AGAIN.
Wow, I didn't know there were rules about this? Fire away then for our blatant violations. I think Saban fell into that same category in '04 for very nearly losing to Oregon State if not for (what?) 4 missed extra points?
where did this notion that UNC's backups should be playing for USL come from? seriously, I'd like an answer to this one. LSU had 13 guys making their 1st ever appearance in a college game last night (and these are guys that played early and often). Meaning those guys were backups last year at best. Just like UNC's guys. the thought that our former backups are phucking amazing and their backups are one legged retards baffles me.
Now if we can just get Jon Gruden to come coach for us. Wouldnt it be nice to have someone that can speak ,and actually coaches during the game? I am wondering if Les's arms are still crossed this morning?
