Sounds like a great sign to hang in the locker room!

honestly, what is your opinion if Miles elects to keep things status quo as far as the coaching staff for the defense in the off season?

We're gonna support our team no matter what.

But to just accept that like a lemming falling off a cliff is not my cup of tea.

Hey John, no offense but recruits see the product on the field and where they fit in as much more important than what you or I think. All one has to do is turn on the TV. If you are happy with the product on the field this year, then there IS a problem.

Would you say we have played mediocre this year? Do you want to see improvements? I do. There are adjustments that need to be made, coach said so himself. :milesmic:Believe me, I'll pump sunshine with the best, but I will keep it real too...

That said, I take comfort knowing that the "adjustments " are coming as do potential recruits. I just hope that the adjustments will include defense, because it NEEDS it. Statements like "Snead runnin for his life" give cause for wonder.:geauxtige

If LSU keeps the status-quo next year, I will support it 100%.

What are my other other options?

Whine and complain about our coaches to everybody I can? Like I explained above, I think that hurts LSU, so I will never do that.

Boycott LSU football in some way? This hurts LSU, so I will never do that.

So what other choice do I have but to support our coaches 100%?

Granted, if I was powerful figure in the LSU community -- Board of Directors, Athletic Department, TAF, something like that, yes, I'd be all over Les making sure that I approve of all his decisions, and I think the powerful figures in the LSU community do this. If they aren't pleased with Miles, they will fire him.

To me, "keeping it real" is supporting your coaches and your team 100%. You show me someone who supports his coaches and his team 100%, even when they are 3-8 every single year, and I will show you a real fan.

John, did you save that response from the old "Geaux Online "Board? That sound very familiar to lines posted by the defenders, me included, of Gerry Dinardo.
