I would take him over that phoney, lying, son of a bitch you have as a coach any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
Emotion is the main difference between Nick and Les. Nick is the coldly efficient Vulcan, he engages the process. But Les is Captain Kirk, he feels, he leads.
Its these types of display of raw emotion that make me really like CLM. He truly loves his players and LSU. It shows in the emotion that came out. It was a bit over the top, not eloquently said, but the point was there. You could see him start to choke up. That is also the reason so many kids love him and want to play for him at LSU. I often get frustrated with some of his decision, when makes mistakes they are often game costing or just mind boggling. Displays like that really hit home though. He truly is a good guy.
No, he looks pissed off that a reporter decided to diss one of his beloved players. I'm proud this buffoon is our coach, and folks like you will miss him one day when he is gone.
Ditto, Winston1. By way of contrast, did y'all see the comments by former Bama players about passing coach Saban in the halls (when they were active players)--& Saban would ignore them, not respond to their greetings. That's because Saban is a tool. Les Miles is an actual thinking, caring human being.
