    Subpar defense/special teams

    2008, 2013, 2014, 2015: LSU 34-16
    All other seasons: LSU 77-16

    Only the 2013 team had a solid offense that helped us to a 10-3 record. So without an offense, those teams with defensive deficiencies were only 24-13.

    When we give up 45 points to Tech and Les declares that there is nothing to see here, the LSU faithful will turn into the LSU faithless.

    No, the same old bunch will say young team with a first year starter at QB, just wait until next year. I think they start on the next year's excuses over the summer.
