Miles called the KW halfback pass, not Crowton

I think I heard Rece Davis call Les Miles "The Hat" or "The Mad Hatter" approximately 4x10^1000000 times on Saturday's GameDay Final (watched today, finally got a chance).

This isn't going to help that situation/problem (depends on how you look at it). "Ain't no such thing as bad press, though."

I am sure he has plenty. But the beauty of it is that Crowton and Miles have been using them precisely at the perfect moment. ... the perfect surprise for the other team. Other plays that come to mind are the beautiful onside kick that even fooled the cameraman, and the bunched receiver formation against Ohio State that led to the quick strike to Edwards for the TD.:milesmic:

Why? We're the defending national champs, only 2 time BCS champs :crystal::crystal:, and haven't lost since winning the latest BCSNCG. I for one think it's a travesty that :lsup: isn't ranked #1 right now...and yes, I'm serious.

How does a team go from throttling the then #1 team in the BCSNCG, and 3 games later, they're undefeated with a road win against a top 10 team, and are ranked #6??:huh: The polls are a joke.

People, the other shoe has dropped, and it's all good.

 

I don't disagree with your assertions that we should be in serious consideration for #1 in our subjective polling system since we ended the year #1 and no one has beaten us. I was simply referring to not being too high on the hog regarding our HC and O-coord being the best coaching tandem and crowton being an "offensive genius" as aztiger was saying. Like I said, I think they are both excellent at their jobs, I just think those comments were a bit overboard.

I think some people are scared to stick their neck out.......because there's a lot of told you so on this board. Other's do not want to get their own hopes up and then be dissapointed later. Then there are the people that just love living in the moment and are having fun with it knowing that it could all end some day. These are the people that will not have to look back and say....man I wish I had celebrated a little more.

Count me in with the last group......and please bring me another cold beer to go with this high hog I am having over here! :thumb:
