Miles buyout clause specifies Michigan

Reading all these posts still have me confused.

I still don't understand if he has a buy out clause or not.

I am glad that this thread was here though, I had to pull it up last night to show a friend of mine that was here. He said he heard on the radio that Miles did not have a clause.

Watching ESPN this morning, they said the buyout check has already been written for Miles, just not cashed yet.

 

The CBS interview with Miles, that they showed during the game was good I thought.

He said he would be letting down his players if he started entertaining the thoughts and got distratcted.

I think it maybe done but Miles is wanting it to be in the background and doesn't want to lose focus on the ultimate goal. Unfortunately I don't see how it is possible to keep it quiet, with Carr probably retiring Monday. The circus will begin then.

I really hope Miles stays and I hope he doesn't pull a Saban and lie, lie, lie about it then all of a sudden say he is going.

If he is going to UM, I say he should let it be known, the players and fans understand his feelings. That way the turmoil and rumors will cease and you have the trust of the fans and players to go out and win. I think Miles is an honest man and he will put forth his best effort to winning the titles even if he is going to UM next year.

I really hope he stays. He will be a Louisiana heroe if he tells UM "No thanks".

 

If Miles takes the team to the NC game he gets a big fat check at the end of the year and if he wins it he gets an even bigger paycheck. I read in an article a while back just how much it is but can't find it now. Miles wants a NC ring and he is gonna do everything in his power to get one whether UM is calling him up or not. I don't care what anyone says,money motivates people big time. Miles may be perceived as "goofy" but the man is not stupid. He will take the money and NC rings at LSU over going back to the border wars in the Big 10. Just my opinion.:crystal: :crystal:

Lol, I sent my sister a link to his contract today cause, at lunch, she said it ONLY had a buyout for Michigan and when I told her differently, she pointed to the t.v. and said, "That's what they're saying" and I just said, "Well, they're wrong....again". :lol:
