Of course the grumblings will increase even more as the new coaching staff grows. This all before they ever coach a game, because there is no way Miles could ever make a good hiring decision. That would be giving him credit for some level of intelligence.
3.5 million a year privy to all sorts of team information I don't know about worst season at LSU was 7-5 20+ years of coaching experience No possible way he's smarter than all the posters here:hihi:
Stop it, you are using way too much logic for much of this fan base. You know that many of them are either retired coaches or current coaches. They all know exactly what should be done with every position on the field, for every situation on the field, and for everything football. I know that there are some pretty intelligent posters on here, being serious, but I would think that Miles credentials have him waaay more qualified.
I think the same also, but I'm no former coach or current one that took home state,:crystal:, or the super bowl, so I can't think of a perfect scheme:milesmic:
I can't believe that no one has mentioned how he claps with his fingers splayed apart. Watch a replay of one of the games if you haven't noticed it yet. He claps his palms together and has his fingers spread out. It would be OK if he could do it with his pinky and ring fingers close together, but when he claps, his pinky sticks out away from his ring finger. Damned annoying. I can't watch LSU football anymore with him on the sidelines clapping like that. I am done with him.
I noticed. I just thought with everything else that is wrong with Miles' thinking, wardrobe, verbage, funny faces, I'd throw the dog a bone on that one
I can live with everything else. The lowly 9-3 record, the 5 years of failure, but the clapping thing...
As a hater, I feel I've said my piece. There are a number of things that have transpired that lead me to believe Miles isn't a top shelf coach. I say this as a fan, not an expert, and am open to considering that I may be wrong. But this is the opinion I have developed over time and according to all you sunshine pumpers who must be coaches yourselves to realize what a great coach Miles is, I am not entitled to an opinion. Because I don't think Miles is a great coach, I am not a great fan. I know you don't think much of my opinion, but I think that's a bunch of BCS. I'm not going to rush to judgment on these hires, but I am pleased to see so many people relatively happy with them. If Miles were to right the ship and play a high caliber of football next season, I'd be thrilled to be wrong. This is what you don't understand, though. You think LSU fans should be ecstatic over Miles record. I don't have a gripe with the record but feel that only tells a portion of the story. I haven't seen a high caliber of football on the field through most of Miles' tenure. That's what bothers me. I will not apologize for scrutinizing more than the W/L column; criticizing a more in depth examination of a coach shows YOUR true colors, not mine.
