Exactly, and if you really want to break it down to simple, we were 1 bad officiating call, 1 injured player not being on the field for a scoring play (Patrick off the field when Jones burned down the field), and 1 coaching error way from an 11-1 season. Of course the neysayers will point out that we were just as close to a 4-5 loss season, but we didn't lose those games and that is what really matters. Fix a few problems and all will be just fine in Tiger Country. I wouldn't call that so bad that this team can't win with Miles at the controls. Due we need some changes on the O side of the coaching staff, ya bet yo ars we do, but I put my faith in Miles to get it right.
How dare you proclaim that sunshine pumpers could be realists. We all know it is best for all of us to just give in and join the other side. To just give in to the forces thst know way more than us. That we should complain about every move that CLM makes and never enjoy the thrill of getting to a 10 or better win season.
Just an observation. But most of the folks who are bashing the coaches and miserable wallowing in the 9-3 winning bowl-bound season....most of them seem very concerned with other folks' opinions of LSU. Les Miles just is not cool.
If Les Miles can put up wins against the best teams in the conference and gets us to Atlanta on a semi-regular basis, then he can dress like Steve Urkel and read "A Brief History of Time" on the sideline for all I care. If fans of other schools still want to think of him as a moron, then let them. At the end of the day you can't argue with championships and quality wins.
Don't forget facial expressions, waving to family, spoken words, having faith in assistants, percieved lack of media savy, white hat, not "beating teams up enough"...man that's a lot to be negativity. I'll just be a sunshine pumper:milesmic:
You can't mean that. Remember he is a bafoon and an idiot. He obviously has no clue, so we need to pick apart his new hires Wilson and Tolbert, because surely they aren't any type of solution to our offensive woes.
Yes, they will be the kiss of death for him, just the last in a long line of pitiful decision making:lol:
