Just watched the PC on WWLTV.COM and here's some things he mentioned: Still hasn't sunk in, in fact he told his team to stay focused for the next 48 hours after the game. :hihi: He was lost in the moment. Asked about a playoff, he answered: "well if we had a playoff last year, LSU would probably have another crystal football. We were the hottest team and showed it in the Sugar. We'll play by whatever rules are setup." LSU is not a stepping stone, it's a final destination. Kids need to realize that his goals as a coach every year are 100% graduation and to win the NC. Will run the same agressive style, attack style defense and will interview many, inlcuding his staff, for position. Almost broke down when the reporter asked about how he and his family has been treated since being in BR. Special Place... Thanks for posting. It's a long press conference, one of the best I've ever seen. We are blessed to have a coach who speaks from the heart and is so committed to his players and coaches. Les thanked the voters for doing their job, having to keep up week by week and casting their votes. The man takes nothing for granted. Class personified. As opposed to someone like Petey Carroll, who to this day wants us to believe that he knows not a damn thing about how the BCS system works. Sorry vball, but your coach is a knobjob and a fake.
I just figured something out that I love about miles. At his press conferences he is not performing for anyone. He's just being Les. I think that is why he is such a players coach and so well respected by players and coaches.
What I also notice is that when he is in a relaxed environment, he speaks quite eloquently. The only time he comes off sounding a little goofy is those damn sideline interviews. I have no idea why that is. I guess he's just focused on the task at hand and doesn't really care to do the damn interviews.

Now we can look back at this season and laugh at all those stupid media moments. Wasn't there a video link of the locker room provided recently (I forgot where) showing Miles delivery a speech to the players with a lot of punch , fire and eloguence? He's also different in the locker room unlike in those silly interviews. I think that is quite OK. They can just keep on underestimating Miles :wave:
