There are lots of worthy groups to help animals but PETA is a bunch of wackos. A few years ago they were planning to protest at the Grand Isle Fishing Rodeo because they said hooks were cruel to fish. They called it off when they found out they would be greeted by a bunch of coon asses with ax handles.
No, there are still a lot of Americans that kill wolves, grey ones too, there was this one thing I saw where there are wolf killing contests in some northern states, where it's open season and they kill them by the truckload.
And how did they attempt that? They are all about publicity and nonaction. Guess that's why the HW types love em. Their biggest expense is advertising and recruitment. Meanwhile DU, BU, QU... have purchased millions of acres to preserve natural habitat.
PETA is no more Nazi than the Republicans are. They advocate much of what ASPCA advocates, they are just an activist organization that conducts protests. They do not represent all animal rights advocates any more than Greenpeace represents all environmentalists or the Tea Party represents all conservatives.
When I called them Nazis I wasn't referring to their politics. I was commenting on their killing thousands of animals as in the link posted by LSUDiehard
