Hey guys, I was at the recent Miss. St. v. LSU game and we arrived at the game about 45 minutes before kickoff and did not see Mike roar at the plush Mike mascot. Has he not been trained to do so yet? Also, one thing I wanted to add but did not know where to put it: I think Lee is doing an amazing job at QB which is evidence by our early 27-10 lead over State. I am among the people who believe CLM was being vanilla and keeping certain things close to his chest in preparations for UF and Cryer...but I do think he needs to focus on those slants and fades. Thanks, Mac
Dr. Baker won't let the costumed mascots near Mike right now. Something about "this stage of development", isn't good for Mike, whatever that means for big cats. Mike VI hasn't roared in Tiger Stadium yet.
He's so calm it's almost strange, very laid back and carefree. I doubt we'll hear him roar unless they provoke him with the costumed Mike, even then he may only be curious. Dr. Baker hinted they might do somethin like that next season. View attachment 11387
yep. but i would be too if i were a tiger leading the life he does. actually, i like to think that mike six is like our coach. underestimted. :thumb:
If Mike doesn't roar when The Coach Who Shall Remain Nameless takes the field during pre game on November 8th, then we need to go to Plan B. Take up a collection and arrange for a conjugal visit with Ms. Mike. The boy needs some therapy.
i know we all got used to mike v roaring at the costumed mike, but he just didnt like him. that was his thing. it was a part of his personality, not a trained response. i say let six be who he is with his own personality. even laid back and carefree. so, we have a hippie tiger for a mascot. i kinda like his fun and still cub-like personality. and we still have the best and most beautiful live mascot there is. hands down. oh, and "chuffing" is still one of my favorite words.
