Nope, the Kevin was, oh hell, he was OC and left to be the Head Coach at Indiana I think, Wilson, that's who it was. Brent and Chicken lips Jr were Co DC, then Mike left to take the AZ gig. Brent went to Clemson right after they got drubbed by wva. Not sure of the year.
Yes Kevin Steele was Clemson DC when WVU put 70 on Clemson. Brent Venables was hired as DC at Clemson following that debacle. I think he got the job in 2012. Famous Jameis put 50 on him last year. Clemson's defense has been much more physical since his hiring though.
One good thing if Mike Stoops did become LSU's DC: he could finally convince 4 and 5 star football players from Oklahoma to commit to the school where he works.
3 linebackers come to mind Matthews III for the Packers, Cushing for the Texans and Rey Maualuga for the Bengals. Back in the OJ days they had people like Mike Holmgren, Ron Yary and in the late 70's Clay Matthews II and his brother Bruce even Marcus Allen. I still hate them though.
Meh, that's mostly not true. IMO football players around the country are pretty much the same minus the service academies. Stanford has special admits but even they have limited those. USC has made strides in academic standing but not in areas of study that athletes typically pursue. Pendergast took over with Monte's recruits. Deer in the headlights with Monte's Tampa 2 bullshit. Same kids performed for Clancy. It's not rocket science.
