Wazzou has the smallest stadium in D-1A. Capacity is only like 30k-ish I believe. They haven't really been relevant since Ryan Leaf was there, and even then I'm not so sure. Definitely not a pressure-cooker, so maybe it's a stepping stone to get back in the ranks.

WSU or WAZZU does have a small stadium and there is no problem getting tickets to a game. They got a new AD a couple years ago that wants to change things. When he fired Wulff he said he knew Leach and he was on the list, but I never thought he would come to WSU. They only paid Wulff 600,000 a year and with the over 2 million they will pay Leach makes him the highest paid person in the State of Washington. Moos (AD) said he wanted to put butts in the seats so they will try by getttig Leach. I moved here in 1976 from Alexandria and when I seen Martin Stadium I thought it was a high school stadium not a PAC 8. Geaux Tigers and go Cougs.

WSU's huge problem is recruiting...in state UDub takes the lion share of the recruits, east of them there is Boise, south of them Oregon, Stanford, USC, North there is Canada. They recruit one 4 stars prospect like every 3 years.

Leach needs to hit the road quick and fast and start bringing better players.

The Cougs seem to have ok QB's, but ol and defense are not there. Maybe with some good asst. coaches he can work magic like he did at TT. Mike Price did a good job here, he had 3 years with 10 wins, but things went down hill every year after he left till the only way they have left to go is up. I would really like to know WHY he is coming to WSU.
