I'm not sure The Pirate's offense would get it done week in and week out in the SEC.

He NEVER runs the football. Ever. Even Florida, both now and under Spurrier, had good backs that could grind a yard out in a tough spot here and there when they had to.

He would definitely take the program in a completely different direction, but I'm not sure if that's really what's needed here.

Little early to be talking about this. Coach Miles is our guy through this year. That's not changing regardless. So let's get behind the team and the staff for the stretch run peeps.

There is a reason TT never had a defense worth a damn. It is because every time Ruffin would get a player with any kind of speed the mad scientiest aka vince gill aka mike leach would move his ass to offense. PP would never see a down at CB under him. (maybe a good thing this year) but no, not as HC. OC sure, but not HC.

I hope we're kidding here. Make it perfect and tell me you want him to restore our dignity. Do you know the details of why he's out of TT now?

Hard nosed? Talk about a pansy! Leach is what you're accusing Miles of. Miles ain't the sharpest tool in the shed, but he ain't a pansy. If it were up to Miles, hard nosed is ALL LSU would run. Come to think of it, I guess it is kinda up to Miles...

His defenses sucked because he didn't have the players. His offense was successful because of the scheme he brought.
