This is the kind of thinking that will kill a program. If, and that is a big improbable if this gets turned around that is in no way a reason to keep Alleva. He screwed this thing up 6 ways from Sunday and you cant keep him because the sun finally decided to shine on a dogs ass. He is junk and needs to find a new gig

 

I agree with @shane0911 ! Joe has already punched his ticket out, O still has a chance to secure his future by improving this program. I think steady improvement and most are willing to give him a chance!

 

After what Alleva has put everyone thru with his botching of firing Miles and the no-search head coach fiasco, poor hires in Bball and now watching film and has neutered the head coach with his coordinators he hired?? He HAS to go even if we beat Bama which wont happen. Nootch is right - Alleva is the cancer of this program

It doesn't matter if you liked Les or not, he didn't deserve to be handled that way. He was a good ambassador for LSU, he should have been fired behind closed doors end of the 15 season.

A professional would have told the media that all personnel matters are handled after the season and leave it at that. Joe had to play big nuts and tell the BOS how he had a lock on Jimbo, and we all know them clowns can't keep nothing confidential.

Will Wade looks like a great hire but he hasn't coached a game yet. Even if he goes to the final 4 it won't save Alleva's job if football continues to crash and burn.
